Goalie Rebate Form

As an effort to reflect our appreciation for those who demonstrate a commitment to goaltending, the Guelph Ringette Association has updated their goalie rebate. Starting in September 2019, we will now have three goalie rebates in place for players in our U9 to U19 age ranges. These rebates are not for U7, U8 or Shinny players.

To Qualify for the 40% Rebate on Registration Fee:

  1. Applicant must be registered in U12P to U19(R/A/AA) with Guelph Ringette.
  2. Applicant must be considered a "full time" goaltender with Guelph Ringette. A full-time goaltender is a player who is exclusively in the goaltending position and does not play out of net on their primary team. The goaltender can be part of a two-goalie tandem.
  3. Applicant must provide all their own equipment: leg pads, blockers, gloves, armor and stick. The applicant must have their own equipment by the start of league games.
  4. The applicant must have satisfied all registration requirements for the applicable season, which is not limited to payment of the Fundraising fee (in full or post-dated cheque) and payment of any Provincial Fee should there be one.

To Qualify for the $140 Rebate:

  1. Applicant must be playing in U9, U10 or U12R levels with Guelph Ringette.
  2. Applicant must be considered their Guelph Ringette team’s primary goaltender for league and tournament games, playing in almost all of the team’s games.
  3. Applicant must provide all their own equipment: leg pads, blocker, armor and stick.
The GRA will supply a Ringette goalie glove if necessary. The applicant must have their
own equipment by the start of league games.
  4. The applicant must have satisfied all registration requirements for the applicable season, including payment of the Fundraising fee (in full or post-dated cheque).

To Qualify for the $50 Rebate Towards Registration for the Next Season:

  1. Applicant must be playing in U9 to U19(R/A/AA) levels with Guelph Ringette.
  2. Applicant must play in at least 5 league or tournament games for the team on which they are registered with Guelph Ringette.
  3. Applicant would be borrowing equipment from the Guelph Ringette Association and must not damage this equipment while in their care outside of games or practices.
  4. The applicant must have satisfied all registration requirements for the applicable season, including payment of the Fundraising fee (in full or post-dated cheque).

Rebate cheques will be issued upon approval.

Goalie Rebate Applications must be submitted to Guelph Ringette Association's Director of Equipment or Director of Coach & Player Development Committee by February 15th of the season in which the rebate is being requested.
